The space
In these post-corona virus times, we are incredibly mindful of your needs to be comfortable and safe. Your health and welfare are our top priorities.

Our property is professionally cleaned and disinfected. You can book with confidence. Our management company has established cleaning protocols that adhere to the government guidance on cleaning and disinfecting properly and they pay particular attention to high touch areas such as light switches, doorknobs and remote controls.

Additionally, we add a block to the calendar for the 24 hours before and after your reservation so as not to be hosting guests back-to-back.

The flat comes complete with electric cooker (with grill and oven), refrigerator, washing machine and microwave. You will find an ample supply of cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery in the well equipped kitchen. The lounge has a comfortable three-seater sofa and a dining table with four chairs. The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a hair dryer. The flat is professionally cleaned before each guest arrives and is freshly stocked with hotel-quality bed linen and fresh hand and bath towels. For your convenience we supply toilet rolls, liquid soap, shower gel/shampoo, washing-up liquid and kitchen roll. Wi-Fi is available.

Additional notes
The flat is in Edinburgh’s Conservation Area and still retains the large sash and case windows typical of the Victorian period when it was built. These windows face south, filling the flat with light and giving an attractive view of St Stephen’s Church clocktower, designed by William Henry Playfair.

Neighborhood overview
Stockbridge is one of Edinburgh’s most vibrant communities with many cafés, restaurants and shops. Every Sunday there is a lively Farmer’s Market which attracts people from far and wide. On the edge of Edinburgh’s New Town, the flat is an ideal base for exploring the city’s historical sites. Princes Street is a short 15 minute walk away and the Royal Botanic Gardens just 10 minutes.
Getting around
Edinburgh Airport: From the airport take the Tram or Airlink bus to Princes Street or Waverley Bridge. From here the apartment is a short taxi ride away. Alternatively you can take a number 29 bus to the corner of Howe Street and Henderson Row and walk about 100 metres.

Train: The nearest railway station is Edinburgh Waverley. From here the apartment is a short taxi ride away. From here the apartment is a short taxi ride away. Alternatively you can take a number 29 bus to the corner of Howe Street and Henderson Row and walk about 100 metres.

Car: Parking is metered in Stockbridge on weekdays but not at weekends. You can park on single yellow lines between 5:30pm and 8:30am on weekdays and all day on Saturday and Sunday. Spaces are normally available in Henderson Place Lane at the rear of the flat.

Buses: Lothian Buses are the main bus operator in Edinburgh. They offer a great free app that provides route maps, fare information and live bus times. Its a great tool for getting around the city.
