Neighborhood overview
Our apartment is set in the Marchmont area. Here you will find lots of cool little independent cafe, bars, restaurants and shops. Its a cool little family-friendly neighbourhood.

The Meadows, 68 acres of open green space, is a short 5 minute walk away, a great location for exercise, BBQing or just people watching! Another 10 minutes walk and you'll be in the heart of Old Town and the UNESCO World Heritage centre of ancient Edinburgh.
Getting around
Whether you arrive by air or train, you'll want to find yourself at Waverley Train Station, from where you can take a bus (Bus route 5 from North Bridge - Stop NC). Get off at Beuafort Road (11 stops); it will take apron 15 minutes.

If you are driving, you can park on the street free of charge from 17:30 Friday evening to 08:30 Monday morning. Just check the local signs for any restrictions. Off Street parking can be found at the Q-Park at Quartermile and costs approx £20 per 24 hours.
